The company confirmed it had paid for marketing services through an agreement with VHLA Media Inc., which included the newsletter in question, but management maintained that it did not contribute to the material’s creation nor was informed of its distribution timing. Golden Spike also stressed the speculative nature of the statements in the newsletter and advised investors to seek comprehensive information from reliable sources before investing.
