Golden Cariboo Resources ( (TSE:GCC) ) has shared an announcement.
Golden Cariboo Resources has launched its 2026 field season at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia, mobilizing crews to reopen access roads, ready water and pump infrastructure, and resume drilling from hole QGQ25-28 in the northern part of the Halo zone, following a 2025 intercept that returned long mineralized intervals with notable gold and silver grades. The company plans a 7,500-metre surface diamond drilling campaign, a shift from NQ to larger HQ core to improve geological data quality, and a suite of complementary work including trenching, mapping, sampling, and geophysical surveys, marking its most comprehensive exploration effort to date and underscoring its ambitions to expand mineralization along a historically prolific gold trend and strengthen its position within a district that also hosts Osisko Development’s Cariboo Gold Project.
More about Golden Cariboo Resources
Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. is a mineral exploration company focused on rediscovering the historic Cariboo Gold Rush in central British Columbia through targeted drilling and trenching at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property. The project spans nearly 95,000 hectares along a highly prospective structural corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults, borders Osisko Development’s Cariboo Gold Project, and lies within a 90-kilometre trend that has historically produced gold from more than 100 placer creeks. The Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit on the property, discovered in 1865 near Hixon, shares geological similarities with the Spanish Mountain gold deposit further southeast on the same trend.
