Gold Terra Resource ( (TSE:YGT) ) has provided an announcement.

Gold Terra Resource reported strong assay results from the first four holes of its 2026 winter drill program at the Walsh Lake area on its Northbelt property in the Northwest Territories. The highlight was hole GTWL26-024, which intersected 22.46 grams per tonne gold over 5.7 metres, including a high-grade interval of 198 grams per tonne over 0.5 metres.

The winter campaign, totaling 4,904.9 metres across 15 holes, has extended the Walsh Lake gold corridor beyond its previously defined 500-metre strike length and confirmed a northern extension hosted in metasediments. These new zones, building on discoveries from the 2022 program, strengthen the case for further drilling next winter and support Gold Terra’s strategy of developing satellite deposits alongside its plans to restart the Con Mine, potentially enhancing the company’s long-term production profile in the Yellowknife region.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:YGT) stock is a Sell with a C$0.19 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Gold Terra Resource stock, see the TSE:YGT Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on YGT Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, YGT is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, ongoing losses, and sustained negative operating/free cash flow), reinforced by bearish technical momentum (below key moving averages with negative MACD). These are partially offset by a low-leverage balance sheet with zero debt and a stronger equity base, while valuation is difficult to assess given negative earnings.
