Gold Hunter Resources Inc., a Canadian mining firm, has struck an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Great Northern and Viking Projects in Newfoundland from Magna Terra Minerals Inc. The deal, which is still pending regulatory approval and customary closing conditions, promises to consolidate a significant gold district, with Gold Hunter expecting to finalize the transaction shortly.
