GMO Internet Deepens AI Push With ¥3.2 Billion GPU Cloud Alliance With Turing

GMO Internet ( (JP:9449) ) has issued an update.

GMO Internet Group’s consolidated subsidiary GMO Internet, Inc. has finalized a capital and business alliance with Turing Inc., a Japanese startup developing fully autonomous driving AI, to underpin a strategic partnership in the GPU cloud sector. The move positions GMO Internet more firmly in the Physical AI space by supplying Turing with large-scale AI computing infrastructure, including NVIDIA H200 and B300 GPUs delivering about 0.37 exaflops of theoretical performance over four years, and by investing 3.2 billion yen to support Turing’s R&D.

GMO Internet has already been providing its GMO GPU Cloud service to Turing and is now formalizing the relationship to secure stable, scaled computational resources for Turing’s next-stage development of end-to-end autonomous driving and large foundation models. While the company expects only a minor impact on consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026, the alliance strengthens its positioning in high-growth AI infrastructure, aligns it with a promising autonomous driving player, and may enhance its long-term presence in advanced mobility and AI-driven industrial solutions.
