Globex Mining Ent ( (TSE:GMX) ) has provided an announcement.

Globex Mining Enterprises has acquired by staking a contiguous block of unpatented lode mining claims in Lincoln County, southeastern Nevada, named the Gem Hills rare earths property, and immediately carried out prospecting and sampling on the site. The project lies outside known mining districts but within a geologically favourable setting at the margin of the Caliente Caldera Complex, where Globex had already identified rare earth mineralisation during a 2024 regional campaign.

Initial sampling from trenches, dumps and outcrops returned significantly high-grade total rare earth oxide values ranging from 0.28% to 5.26% TREO, averaging about 1.7% TREO, with notable enrichment in more valuable heavy rare earths and key Nd/Pr oxides. The discovery, located in the same broader region as MP Materials’ Mountain Pass mine and Globex’s optioned Virgin Mountain project, underscores Globex’s growing rare earth footprint in the U.S. and could enhance its strategic position within a domestic supply chain increasingly backed by U.S. government support for critical minerals.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:GMX) stock is a Buy with a C$3.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Globex Mining Ent stock, see the TSE:GMX Stock Forecast page.
