Globex Mining Ent ( (TSE:GMX) ) just unveiled an update.
Globex Mining reported that its option partner Lodestar Minerals has confirmed significant heavy rare earth mineralization at the Virgin Mountain property in Arizona, with assays from chip samples returning total rare earth oxide grades of up to 3.73%. Scanning electron microscope work identified xenotime as the dominant rare earth mineral, underscoring the project’s potential as a source of high-value heavy rare earths such as dysprosium, terbium and lutetium, which are considered critically undersupplied and essential for electric vehicles, wind turbines and defence-related technologies.
The mineralized xenotime occurs within a shear zone along a mapped, five-kilometre-long structure hosted in Paleoproterozoic gneiss, indicating a sizable structural trend for further exploration. The results strengthen the strategic profile of the Virgin Mountain project within the rare earth supply chain and support Globex’s model of creating value through optioning high-potential properties to partners that fund and advance exploration.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:GMX) stock is a Buy with a C$3.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Globex Mining Ent stock, see the TSE:GMX Stock Forecast page.
