The latest announcement is out from Globex Mining Ent ( (TSE:GMX) ).
Globex Mining Enterprises reported early drilling results from Emperor Metals’ 2025–2026 exploration campaign at the Duquesne West gold project, where Emperor is in the third year of a five-year option. Initial holes DQ25-01 and DQ25-02 confirm broad zones of low-grade, near-surface gold mineralization alongside higher-grade lenses, adding about 7% of planned new drilling data to refine the geological model.
The program targets 15,000 metres of new drilling and 8,000 metres of historical core resampling to expand on the project’s current inferred resource of 1.46 million ounces of gold and to test both open-pit and underground mining scenarios. By infilling historically under-sampled areas and delineating bulk-tonnage zones around the higher-grade core, the work aims to grow ounces and improve project economics at a time when strong gold prices make lower-grade open-pit material potentially more attractive for development.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:GMX) stock is a Buy with a C$3.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Globex Mining Ent stock, see the TSE:GMX Stock Forecast page.
