Global Uranium Corp. ( (TSE:GURN) ) has shared an update.
Global Uranium Corp. has completed detailed geological mapping at its Airline uranium project in Wyoming’s Wind River Basin, the first phase of its 2026 field program that also includes radiometric, geochemical, and mineralogical work. The program validated key stratigraphic units, notably the Tertiary Wagon Bed Formation and Archean crystalline basement, and refined understanding of contacts where past radiometric anomalies were detected.
Fieldwork outlined two priority exploration horizons: the unconformity between the Wagon Bed Formation and Archean granite, and an arkosic sandstone layer dubbed the “Scorpion Unit,” both associated with anomalous radioactivity and favorable textures. These mapping results, along with pending radiometric and assay data, will feed into updated stratigraphic models and drill-target definition for 2026, potentially advancing Airline as a more focused uranium exploration opportunity within Global Uranium’s U.S. portfolio.
