Global Education Communities Corp. has initiated a share buyback program, approved by the Toronto Stock Exchange, to repurchase up to 1,000,000 common shares over a 12-month period starting March 22, 2024. This action reflects the company’s belief that its current market share price does not accurately represent its underlying value and future prospects. Previously, under a similar program, GECC bought back 57,500 shares, signaling confidence in its business focused on education and student housing.
