Global Cord Blood Corporation, currently in provisional liquidation, has encountered challenges with its extraordinary general meeting (EGM), which was adjourned and eventually dissolved due to a lack of quorum. The Joint Provisional Liquidators (JPLs) have since sought court approval for their remuneration for the period between September 2022 and September 2023. Shareholders have been notified of the developments and the court hearing for the JPLs’ remuneration approval is scheduled for July 30, 2024.
