Glatfelter (GLT) has provided an update.
Glatfelter Corporation is set to bolster its market presence through a strategic transaction with Berry Global Group, which involves spinning off Berry’s nonwovens and hygiene films business and merging it with a Glatfelter subsidiary to form a new entity, referred to as NewCo. As part of this corporate maneuver, leadership roles are being established, and it has been announced that Mr. David C. Elder will step down from his executive positions at Glatfelter upon the deal’s completion.
