Gladiator Metals Corp ( (TSE:GLAD) ) has provided an announcement.
Gladiator Metals has announced a significant new copper-gold discovery at the Cub East target, adjacent to the historic Black Cub South open pit in the Whitehorse Copper Belt, with all five holes from a 1,411-metre maiden drill program intersecting high-grade copper-gold-magnetite skarn mineralization. Highlight results include 44.2 metres grading 1.69% copper and 0.93 grams per tonne gold, including 27 metres at 2.56% copper and 1.44 g/t gold, defining high-grade mineralization over more than 300 metres of strike and 300 metres down dip within an 800-metre geophysical anomaly that remains open in all directions. The discovery validates Gladiator’s low-cost gravity and IP geophysical targeting strategy, unlocks further exploration potential along the broader Whitehorse Copper Belt, and supports the company’s fully funded, 50,000-metre 2026 drilling campaign, with additional assay results from the nearby Cowley prospect and further drilling at Cub East expected to drive resource growth and potentially enhance the company’s position in the copper-gold exploration space.
