Gjensidige Completes Merger with Danish Subsidiary

Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (GB:0OJC) has released an update.

Gjensidige Forsikring ASA, a leading Nordic insurance group, has successfully completed the merger with its fully-owned Danish subsidiary, marking a significant expansion of its insurance operations in the Nordic region. The merger, which has received regulatory approval from financial supervisory authorities in Norway and Denmark, was implemented today. Gjensidige boasts 4,500 employees and a strong financial position, with an operating income of NOK 36 billion and total assets of NOK 148 billion as of 2023.
