GIFT HOLDINGS INC. reported a robust 29.0% year-on-year increase in all stores’ sales for August 2024, with a 11.4% rise in same-store sales, attributing the growth to minimal impact from July’s price revision and additional holiday time compared to the previous year. The company also noted a year-on-year increase in the number of company-owned stores in Japan, growing from 174 to 197 in the first half of the fiscal year ending October 2024. Despite a record-breaking heat wave in Western Japan, the company maintained a steady flow of customers and continued its expansion.
