Giant Mining Corp ( (TSE:BFG) ) has provided an update.
Giant Mining Corp. has hired Unmanned Aerial Services Inc. to carry out a high-resolution underground LiDAR survey at its Majuba Hill copper-silver-gold project in Nevada, with fieldwork slated for early April 2026. The program will map accessible historical underground workings, generating a detailed 3D “digital twin” to improve structural interpretation, correlate with surface and drill data, and refine targets for an upcoming core drilling campaign.
The survey will cover thousands of feet of drifts, stopes, adits, raises, and winzes, although some deeper or unstable areas remain inaccessible and will not be captured in the data. By digitizing historic mine workings and integrating LiDAR outputs with existing geological, geochemical, and drilling datasets, Giant Mining aims to sharpen drill targeting beneath and adjacent to past mining areas, potentially enhancing the project’s exploration efficiency and strengthening its technical positioning in a competitive copper-gold exploration landscape.
