An update from GFG Resources ( (TSE:GFG) ) is now available.
GFG Resources has exercised its option to acquire a 100% interest in the 6,500-hectare WWCC Property from International Explorers and Prospectors, consolidating it into the now fully owned 15,000-hectare-plus Goldarm Property in the Timmins Gold District. The transaction, which included a final share payment, exploration expenditures and transfer of assessment credits, leaves IEP with a net smelter royalty, while giving GFG a larger continuous land package over more than 30 kilometres of highly prospective gold-bearing structures.
With the consolidation complete, GFG plans a robust 2026 exploration program aimed at advancing the Aljo Gold Project toward resource-scale definition and generating new discoveries across Goldarm and the Pen Gold Project. Ongoing and planned work includes a 90-hole sonic drilling campaign for base-of-till sampling at Goldarm, targeted diamond drilling of priority anomalies, systematic infill and step-out drilling at Aljo, and advancing refined targets at Pen Gold toward drill testing later in 2026, positioning the company to build a multi-year discovery pipeline in the Timmins camp.
Spark’s Take on GFG Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GFG is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak fundamentals (no revenue, ongoing losses, and consistent cash burn) and bearish technicals (below key moving averages with negative MACD). A low-debt, equity-supported balance sheet provides some stability, but valuation remains hard to justify with a negative P/E and no dividend data.
