An update from Getty Images Holdings ( (GETY) ) is now available.

On October 27, 2023, a U.S. District Court in New York ruled in favor of Alta Partners and CRCM Institutional Master Fund on certain breach of contract claims related to Getty Images Holdings’ public warrants, awarding approximately $36.9 million to Alta and $51.0 million to CRCM plus pre-judgment interest, while ruling in favor of the company on other significant claims, including Alta’s claims on later-acquired warrants. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed this judgment in all respects on January 15, 2026, and after the appeals court denied Getty Images’ rehearing request on April 16, 2026, the company confirmed it had already recorded a litigation loss and maintained a reserve for the full amount and will partially draw on its existing revolving credit facility, via subsidiary Getty Images, Inc., to help fund payment of the judgment and interest.

The most recent analyst rating on (GETY) stock is a Buy with a $7.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Getty Images Holdings stock, see the GETY Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on GETY Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GETY is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weak technicals (shares below key moving averages with negative MACD) and unstable profitability despite strong gross margins. Earnings-call takeaways are mixed: strong operating performance and licensing wins are offset by guidance showing lower 2026 EBITDA/revenue versus reported 2025 and by high debt/interest burden and free-cash-flow compression. Corporate events add uncertainty via NYSE compliance risk, partially balanced by progress on merger clearance.
