Getty Copper ( (TSE:GTC) ) has provided an announcement.
Getty Copper Inc. has overhauled its leadership team, appointing mining executive Ryan O’Regan as chief executive officer and exploration geologist Dr. Roy Greig as vice president of exploration, moves aimed at unlocking the value of its Highland Valley copper assets in British Columbia. The appointments bring mine development, project execution and porphyry exploration expertise in-house as the company prepares for a 2026 work program focused on resource and exploration drilling to advance its flagship Getty Project.
To align management incentives with shareholders, Getty granted 22,450,000 stock options to employees, directors, consultants and contractors, vesting over two years, and issued additional options to a newly engaged marketing firm. The company also retained Capital Analytica for a six-month, $150,000 marketing and social media campaign, underscoring a push to raise its capital markets profile as it pursues growth and retools its strategy in the copper exploration space.
