Mining, Minerals & Metals plc, soon to be renamed Georgina Energy Plc, has announced a well re-entry program at the Hussar EP513 site in Western Australia to explore for helium, hydrogen, and hydrocarbons. The company, which has invested over GBP 6.5 million in Australian well re-development, is aiming to penetrate the Townsend Formation at a depth of 3400m, a region previously unexplored in the 1980s oil-targeted drills. With this move, Georgina Energy is positioning itself as a significant player in the global helium and hydrogen markets, commencing the program in December 2024 pending necessary permits and approvals.
