Georgia Capital PLC has cancelled 40,000 treasury shares as part of its ongoing share buyback and cancellation programme, in line with section 729 of the UK Companies Act 2006. Following the transaction, the company now holds 20,000 ordinary shares in treasury, with 34,894,357 ordinary shares in issue and 34,874,357 voting rights outstanding, a move that marginally reduces share count and may enhance value per share for existing shareholders by slightly increasing their proportional ownership.
