GEO Exploration Strengthens Australian Team With Senior Exploration Hire

GEO Exploration Limited has bolstered its Australian operations by appointing Thomas Harris as Australian Exploration Manager, adding more than 15 years of gold and base metal exploration experience spanning Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Harris, who played a key role in notable gold-copper discoveries including Havieron, Khamsin and Freemantle Doctor, is expected to enhance the company’s technical capability and on-the-ground oversight as its Australian projects advance.

Working closely with technical consultant Callum Baxter, with whom he previously collaborated at Greatland Gold, Harris will support both the progression of GEO’s current exploration programmes and the assessment of potential new opportunities. Management framed the hire as a strategic step in GEO’s evolution into a multi-asset company, signalling a push to strengthen its discovery track record and improve execution in a competitive exploration landscape.
