Geo Energy Resources Ltd. ( (SG:RE4) ) has provided an announcement.
Geo Energy Resources Limited, a Singapore-listed coal miner focused on Indonesian assets, produces thermal coal from its SDJ, TBR and TRA mines while building out shipping and infrastructure capabilities. The group is also seeking exposure to premium hard coking coal as it broadens its portfolio beyond thermal coal and positions itself as an integrated coal and logistics player.
For the first quarter ended 31 March 2026, Geo Energy delivered 1.8 million tonnes of coal, generating revenue of US$95.8 million and net profit of US$4.0 million, and declared an interim dividend of 0.1 Singapore cent per share as its market value surpassed S$1 billion with total shareholder return of about 200% since mid-2023. Recent deals include acquiring majority stakes in Indonesian shippers TMP and BSM to secure logistics margins, signing a term sheet for a majority stake in coking coal concession PT Harfa Taruna Mandiri, advancing the MBJ Integrated Infrastructure to about 90% completion toward a 40–50 million tonnes per annum capacity, and securing a term sheet with Resource Invest AG valuing the MBJ business at US$1.5 billion, underscoring management’s view that the group’s overall equity remains undervalued.
