Genius Metals Inc. has successfully closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement, raising $700,000 through 8.75 million units at $0.08 each. The funds will be directed towards developing projects in Québec and Morocco, as well as general working capital. The offering awaits final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
