GENinCode UK Ltd. has partnered with the Family Heart Foundation, UT Southwestern, and other entities to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) using LIPID inCode, a genetic test that also assesses coronary heart disease risk. This collaboration aims to advance cascade screening in the United States, potentially identifying up to 1 million undiagnosed individuals at risk for heart disease. The initiative is supported by the US Department of Defense and seeks to provide early detection and treatment to reduce cardiovascular disease impacts.
