Genesis Energy Invests in EV Future with ChargeNet

Genesis Energy Limited (DE:1G6) has released an update.

Genesis Energy Limited is acquiring a 65% stake in ChargeNet for $64 million to solidify its position in New Zealand’s electric vehicle (EV) market and support the country’s transition to sustainable transport. ChargeNet, which currently operates over 400 EV charging points, is set for significant expansion with Genesis’ investment, aiming to more than double its charging points by 2030. This aligns with Genesis’ broader commitment to renewable energy and its strategy to increase its market share in EV customers to 30% by FY28.
