Assicurazioni Generali has purchased 700,000 treasury shares on the Euronext Milan market for approximately €18.73 million as part of its 2022-2024 strategic plan. This buyback initiative is aimed at cancelling shares to optimize its capital structure. Following this transaction, the company and its subsidiaries now hold 2.57% of its share capital as treasury shares.
