Gemfields Group (PLLHF) has released an update.
Gemfields Group reports a successful auction of commercial-quality sapphires and rubies, achieving revenues of $2.3 million from the sale of all 5.7 million carats offered. The auction, which took place over three days, drew strong demand, particularly benefiting cutting centers in Thailand and India. Proceeds from this auction will be repatriated to Mozambique, contributing royalties to the local government.
