Geely Automobile Holdings ( (HK:0175) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Geely Automobile reported unaudited total vehicle sales of 233,031 units in March 2026, essentially flat year on year, bringing year-to-date sales to 709,358 units, up 1% from a year earlier. While sales under the core Geely brand declined 7%, LYNK & CO rose 1% in March and 12% year to date, and premium EV brand ZEEKR almost doubled March sales, helping offset weakness in traditional models.
The sales mix continued to shift, with battery electric vehicle volumes falling 18% in March and 13% year to date, while plug-in hybrid sales surged 70% in March and 62% over the first quarter, underscoring a pivot toward PHEVs. Exports more than doubled in March and were up 126% year to date, and associate brand Proton posted 5% March growth and an 18% first-quarter increase, highlighting Geely’s strengthening presence in overseas and partner markets even as domestic new energy dynamics remain in flux.
