Geely Automobile Holdings ( (HK:0175) ) has provided an announcement.
Geely Automobile reported unaudited total sales of 235,164 vehicles in April 2026, roughly flat year on year, bringing year-to-date volume to 944,522 units, up 1%. The core Geely brand saw a 6% April decline and 7% year-to-date drop, while the Galaxy sub-brand also softened, contrasting with LYNK & CO’s 4% year-to-date growth and a near-doubling of premium EV brand ZEEKR’s sales.
The group’s sales mix is shifting, with battery electric vehicle volumes down 19% in April and 15% year to date, offset by strong plug-in hybrid growth of 83% in April and 67% year to date. Export sales surged 245% in April and 151% year to date, and associate brand Proton recorded April sales growth of about 29% and 21% growth year to date, underscoring Geely’s expanding international footprint despite pressure in pure BEVs and its reliance on unaudited figures that may be adjusted later.
