Gateway Mining Limited has announced the discovery of a new magmatic copper-nickel-platinum group elements (PGE) target zone at Flametree, with follow-up air-core drilling planned to further explore the area. Although the initial deep diamond drilling did not locate the prospective intrusion, it revealed a strong off-hole conductor, hinting at significant exploration potential. The company is now focusing on air-core drilling to pinpoint the mafic-ultramafic intrusion’s location before advancing to more diamond drilling in hopes of a major base metal find.
