The latest announcement is out from Medallion Resources ( (TSE:GAMA) ).
Gamma Resources has engaged SWCA Environmental Consultants to carry out a Class III cultural resource survey and archaeological investigation at its Mesa Arc uranium project in northern New Mexico, a standard step before exploration on U.S. Forest Service lands. The work underpins a planned drill program of 10–12 holes to depths of about 350 feet at four sites, aimed at validating historical data and assessing stratigraphy and structures linked to uranium mineralization.
The survey will evaluate potential cultural resources in the project area and provide mitigation recommendations to the U.S. Forest Service, enabling Gamma to advance permitting and planning for the Mesa Arc drilling campaign. By progressing baseline studies on a project within a historically productive U.S. uranium belt, Gamma is moving closer to drill testing mineral potential that could reinforce its portfolio and enhance its positioning in the emerging U.S. uranium supply chain.
