Gamma Communications ( (GB:GAMA) ) has issued an announcement.

Gamma Communications, a FTSE 250-listed European provider of business-critical cloud communications and network services, serves SMEs, large corporates and public sector clients through a mix of proprietary technology, third-party cloud platforms and its own telecoms network. The group has a strong foothold in Germany’s SME cloud communications market, a broad UK channel partner network and specialised enterprise and service provider divisions supporting complex and international communications needs.

Gamma has appointed Damien Maltarp as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, replacing outgoing CFO Bill Castell, who leaves at the end of March 2026 for a private equity-backed role. Maltarp, currently Group Financial Controller at London Stock Exchange Group and a former senior BT Group finance executive and telecoms equity analyst, is expected to join by September 2026, bringing deep sector and capital markets expertise that should bolster Gamma’s financial leadership and support its ambition to strengthen its European market position.

Until Maltarp joins, a senior finance team member will oversee internal financial operations, reporting to Chief Executive Andrew Belshaw, who will directly handle investor and analyst relations. The orderly interim arrangements and the recruitment of a high-profile CFO underscore Gamma’s efforts to maintain continuity in financial management while enhancing its strategic credibility with investors and other stakeholders in a competitive telecoms and cloud communications landscape.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:GAMA) stock is a Buy with a £16.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Gamma Communications stock, see the GB:GAMA Stock Forecast page.
