An announcement from Galantas Gold ( (TSE:GAL) ) is now available.
Galantas Gold Corporation has disclosed that shareholder Eric Sprott, through 2176423 Ontario Ltd., has exercised 39 million common share purchase warrants at C$0.12 per share, bringing his holding to about 99.17 million shares, or 19.9% of the company’s issued share capital. A further 1.5 million warrants have also been exercised at the same price, and application has been made for a total of 40.5 million new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM around 21 April 2026, after which Galantas’ issued share capital will rise to 499,363,772 shares, modestly diluting existing holders while reinforcing its shareholder base.
The expanded capital base and increased stake by a prominent investor underline market confidence in Galantas as it advances the Indiana Project in Chile toward production. The new shares, which will rank pari passu with existing stock, may improve liquidity on AIM and support the company’s long-term plan to build shareholder value through disciplined growth in stable mining jurisdictions.
