Saville Resources ( (TSE:FTUR) ) has provided an announcement.
Future Fuels Inc. has agreed to acquire all securities of Hatchet Uranium Corp., a 51% ValOre Metals subsidiary, through a three‑cornered amalgamation that will make the combined entity a wholly owned Future Fuels unit renamed Future Fuels Athabasca Inc. The deal consolidates a suite of uranium exploration assets in Canada’s Athabasca region and is positioned by both parties as creating a stronger, more financeable platform for future exploration and capital raising.
Hatchet Uranium’s portfolio includes five claim blocks totaling about 97,674 hectares in the Wollaston Lake area along the eastern Athabasca Basin margin, explored historically with geophysics, mapping, sampling and limited drilling. Key assets include the Hatchet Lake property, with notable uranium assay results and subject to a royalty, and the Highway Property, where HUC holds an option to earn 80% and where recent work has identified uranium-bearing boulders, enhancing Future Fuels’ project pipeline in a prolific uranium district.
