Fulcrum Metals Plc ( (GB:FMET) ) has issued an update.
Fulcrum Metals has reported multi-element assay results from a 159-hole auger drilling campaign at its Teck Hughes tailings project in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, confirming near-surface mineralisation with average grades of 0.63 g/t gold, 0.70 g/t silver, 12.86 g/t tellurium and 17.12 g/t gallium. The company says the consistent lateral and vertical grade distribution, with tailings up to 12.4 metres thick, underpins the potential for stable processing operations and supports work towards a maiden mineral resource estimate.
Beyond precious metals, assays revealed notable concentrations of critical and technology metals including rubidium, strontium and zirconium, which could add further economic upside subject to recovery testing and marketability assessments. Fulcrum is also advancing a pilot plant scoping study in Timmins, led by TDI with support from Extrakt and Bechtel, to demonstrate scalability of its cyanide-free process, validate recoveries and reduce technical and commercial risk as it moves Teck Hughes and Sylvanite closer to production.
