Fujitsu reported full-year FY2025 revenue of ¥3.50 trillion, down 1.3% year on year, but operating profit surged 31.4% to ¥348.3 billion and profit attributable to owners more than doubled to ¥449.4 billion, supported by a sharp rise in total comprehensive income and stronger returns on equity and assets. The group strengthened its balance sheet, lifting the equity ratio to 59.6%, boosted operating cash flow to ¥338.1 billion, and raised the annual dividend from ¥28 to ¥50 per share, while guiding for modest revenue growth and higher adjusted operating profit in FY2026 despite an expected decline in reported profit due to one-off items, signaling a continued focus on shareholder returns and underlying business profitability.
For FY2026, Fujitsu forecasts revenue of ¥3.51 trillion, essentially flat, with operating profit projected to rise to ¥415 billion and adjusted operating profit to ¥425 billion, implying ongoing margin improvement even as profit attributable to owners is expected to fall to ¥310 billion on the back of reduced special gains. Management plans a further dividend increase to ¥55 per share and has approved a share repurchase program not yet reflected in earnings per share guidance, underscoring confidence in cash generation and capital allocation discipline as the company exits lower-priority businesses and refines its operations portfolio.
