Frontier IP Group, an intellectual property commercialization firm, celebrates its portfolio company The Vaccine Group’s receipt of a £1 million UK government grant to develop a vaccine for Streptococcus suis, a disease affecting pigs and humans. The Vaccine Group, in collaboration with the University of Plymouth and the University of Cambridge, aims to create a vaccine providing cross-protection against various strains, reducing reliance on antibiotics and addressing global antimicrobial resistance.
