Freshworks Appoints New CAO and Expands CFO Role

Freshworks Inc. has appointed Philippa Lawrence, a seasoned financial executive with extensive background at companies like Workday, Katerra, and Alphabet, as their new Chief Accounting Officer, starting August 5, 2024. Alongside a comprehensive compensation package, including a significant stock option plan, Lawrence’s contract includes several severance benefits and a standard indemnification agreement. Concurrently, Tyler Sloat, the CFO of Freshworks, will expand his role to include Chief Operating Officer without changes to his compensation, bringing his experience from Zuora and academic credentials from Boston College and Stanford to the position.
