freee K.K. ( (JP:4478) ) has issued an announcement.
Freee K.K. will acquire all outstanding shares of Logikura Inc., a developer of the cloud-based logistics platform “Logikura,” and make it a wholly owned consolidated subsidiary. The company plans to integrate Logikura’s centralized inventory management capabilities into its existing cloud ERP ecosystem, creating an end-to-end solution from inventory control to accounting.
By combining the two platforms, Freee aims to address operational challenges for retail and distribution businesses and drive cross-selling to its current customer base, targeting additional revenue growth and stronger business expansion. The move is also expected to enhance Freee’s competitive positioning in SME-focused cloud services by broadening its logistics and inventory functionality, despite Logikura’s relatively modest scale and still-developing financial profile.
