Fountain Asset Reports Decreased NAV and Losses

Fountain Asset (TSE:FA) has released an update.

Fountain Asset Corp. reported a decrease in net asset value (NAV) and a net comprehensive loss for the second quarter and first half of 2024, with NAV dropping by 10% and 16% respectively, alongside a reduction in losses from investment activities compared to the previous year. The company’s financial results reflect a challenging period with both realized and unrealized losses in their portfolio investments, although there is an improvement in net realized gains compared to the same quarter last year.
