An announcement from Frontier Resources Limited ( (AU:FUN) ) is now available.
Fortuna Metals has appointed mineral sands marketing specialist Ian Hind as lead consultant to develop and implement its global titanium sales strategy, reinforcing its technical and commercial capabilities as the Mkanda and Kampini projects advance. Hind brings more than 20 years of experience in zircon and titanium industrial minerals marketing, logistics and offtake negotiations, supporting Fortuna’s push to secure future rutile and graphite offtake agreements.
Operationally, the company has begun hand-auger infill drilling on a 200-by-200 metre grid at Mkanda and plans to start aircore drilling in mid-June to test rutile mineralisation down to about 20 metres. Recent results outlining a central high-grade rutile prospect within a broader 53 square kilometre anomaly, including a 28 square kilometre high-grade core, highlight the project’s potential to deliver a substantial resource and could materially de-risk Fortuna’s development pipeline if confirmed by upcoming drilling and testwork.
