Fortis Completes $500M Senior Notes Offering

Fortis (TSE:FTS) has released an update.

Fortis Inc., a leader in the North American utility industry, has successfully completed a $500 million offering of senior unsecured notes. The company, which boasts $12 billion in revenue and $69 billion in assets, operates across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean. The notes, with a 4.171% yield due in 2031, will not be registered in the U.S. and are catered to Canadian securities laws.
