Nokia ( (GB:0HAF) ) has issued an update.
Nokia has disclosed that FMR LLC’s indirect ownership in Nokia shares surpassed the 5% threshold on 2 March 2026, triggering a mandatory flagging notification under Finnish securities law. Following the change, FMR LLC controls 289,538,191 Nokia shares, representing 5.04% of the company’s shares and 4.83% of the voting rights out of a total 5,742,239,696 shares.
The increase in FMR LLC’s stake signals growing institutional investor interest in Nokia at a time when the company is positioning itself as a leader in AI-era network solutions. While the filing is largely technical, the higher ownership concentration by a major asset manager may be interpreted by the market as a vote of confidence in Nokia’s strategic direction and long-term prospects.
