FLYHT Aerospace Solutions has announced the receipt of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from Transport Canada for its AFIRS Edge, a 5G wireless data communication device for Boeing 737 NG aircraft. This milestone allows FLYHT to distribute the Edge units in Canada and paves the way for global distribution. Air North has partnered with FLYHT, adopting its advanced hardware and software services for their Boeing 737 NG fleet, which will enhance aircraft communications, operational efficiency, and safety.
