FlexiRoam has signed a commercial partnership with White Label Sdn. Bhd., an insurtech arm of Tune Protect Group, to bundle its mobile data as a standard benefit in all eligible preset travel insurance policies. Under the agreement, FlexiRoam’s AI-powered platform will be deployed at scale, with every customer purchasing a preset policy receiving bundled connectivity, reinforcing the company’s role as an embedded engagement layer in the travel journey.
Policyholders will activate their data via FlexiRoam’s AI-enabled WhatsApp agent, creating a direct, automated engagement channel at a key pre-travel moment and enabling ongoing customer interaction. The deal, which runs for an initial two-year term with automatic renewals and per-entitlement fee revenue, is seen as strategically material as it validates the commercial scalability of FlexiRoam’s technology and positions it within the fast-growing ancillary revenue market for travel brands.
Both parties have also set a framework to expand into upsell and cross-sell opportunities via WhatsApp-based conversational commerce, with plans to advance this within about six months of commencement. This expansion potential could extend FlexiRoam’s reach beyond travel insurance into other segments such as airlines, hotels and online travel agencies, strengthening its positioning within the travel industry’s ancillary revenue ecosystem.
