Fletcher Building Limited ( (FRCEF) ) just unveiled an update.
Fletcher Building’s Higgins Contractors unit has signed 10-year Integrated Delivery Contracts with New Zealand’s transport agency for state highway maintenance across East Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Hawke’s Bay, starting April 2026. The long-term deals reinforce Higgins’ position in regional road maintenance and provide a decade-long revenue platform that underpins the scale and visibility of Fletcher’s infrastructure services.
The contracts are also a key variable in Fletcher Building’s agreed sale of its Construction Division to VINCI Construction, with the final purchase price subject to adjustment based on the IDC outcomes. With the contracts now executed, Fletcher and VINCI are reassessing the transaction value, a development that could influence the economics of the divestment and the division’s perceived future earnings potential.
