Flair Writing Starts Wooden Pencil Production to Scale Creative Portfolio

Flair Writing Industries Limited ( (IN:FLAIR) ) has issued an announcement.

Flair Writing Industries Limited has started manufacturing wooden pencils at its step-down subsidiary Flomaxe Stationery Private Limited in Surat, adding a new product line to its creative segment. The new facility, with an estimated annual capacity of 84 million pencils, will also produce erasers and sharpeners, creating a fuller pencil and allied stationery portfolio alongside existing polymer and mechanical pencils.

Management said the expansion deepens the company’s backward integration in the fast-growing creative category, which grew 72% year-on-year in the first nine months of FY26. By entering one of the largest stationery segments with offerings at multiple price points, Flair aims to strengthen its competitive position and scale its creative business as a key growth pillar in the broader stationery market.
