First Phosphate Partners with First Nation on Quebec Project

First Phosphate Corp. (TSE:PHOS) has released an update.

First Phosphate Corp. has entered into a collaboration agreement with the Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation to align on the development of a proposed phosphate mine and LFP cathode material plant in Quebec. The pact focuses on employment, environmental protection, and cultural integration, with First Nation’s involvement in governance and financial participation in the project. The agreement includes the issuance of company shares to the First Nation, reinforcing a commitment to cultural and strategic collaboration.
