This milestone aligns with the company’s efforts to develop Quebec’s phosphate resources and its vision to establish a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery production hub in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region. The company’s focus is on high purity phosphate production for LFP batteries, anticipating increased demand as North American phosphate production is forecasted to decrease significantly by 2037.
